What used to be a tedious, not-so-glamorous task has now become a life-saving skin care mandate — applying sunscreen. It’s an often-overlooked step, sometimes treated as a dull chore, but probably the most essential. And not only should you wear SPF in hotter months when the sun dances on your skin without care, but it should also be worn in winter. With frigid temperatures outside, investing in a sunscreen that provides hydration and moisture is key to saving and loving your skin.

I’ve been hooked on TONYMOLY’s Green Tea Superlight Sunscreen for the past year because it delivers multiple key benefits: the lightweight formula leaves my skin glowy and hydrated without a greasy feel, which is perfect for my dry skin. I discovered it while roaming the aisles of Ulta — I was searching for a new sunscreen after being dissatisfied with my previous one — and have relied on it ever since.

This Korean sunscreen has an SPF 50 rating and doubles as skin care, containing green tea extract, niacinamide, panthenol, and vitamin E.  It, thankfully, doesn’t leave a white cast or burn your eyes, so you can go throughout the day without torture. It has truly been a holy grail in my skin care regimen.

I have seen a tremendous difference in my skin since adding this sunscreen to my routine, specifically with how it has evened out my skin tone. Although I wear it year-round, its consistency and hydrating ingredients will make it your skin’s bestie in harsh, cold weather.

I will continue to share sunscreens that I love as I come across them, so be on the lookout. 🙂
